A great job is life-changing

As we sit here reflecting on our journey, we can't help but smile thinking about where it all began. Our story started in Dublin, where being part of the tech industry changed our lives. Those meaningful connections, the sense of belonging, the excitement of building something together – it was magical.

Today, we get to recreate that magic for others, and honestly, it feels surreal that this is our job.

These past months have been nothing short of extraordinary. From hosting a vibrant community workshop at Pinterest's office to engaging sessions at Indeed and Autodesk, each event has reinforced why we do what we do. Walking into LinkedIn's office at the Empire State Building for our first US event felt like a dream – one that reminded us just how far this community has carried us.

Seeing our community campaign light up the streets of Amsterdam to celebrate our second anniversary was a powerful reminder of how much we've grown together. And announcing D2 Talent (more on that below) at our anniversary party? That was our way of coming full circle – taking those meaningful connections that changed our lives in Dublin and turning them into opportunities for others.

We've been fortunate to work with some of the top tech companies, but what truly makes us feel lucky is witnessing the authentic connections being formed at every event. Whether it's a casual coffee chat or a thought-provoking panel discussion, these moments of genuine connection are what keep us going.

As we look ahead, we're filled with gratitude for this community that continues to trust us, support us, and grow with us.

Envision a Career You Love @ Pinterest Office

the D2 collective and Pinterest teamed up to host our first ‘Envision a Career You Love’ event at Pinterest's vibrant Dublin office.

The night kicked off with a fireside chat led by Eliana Waldman, where panelists Cheryl Savage (Pinterest), Clay Coyle (Rippling), and Erika Ryan (Notion) shared personal and professional insights on career development, the importance of value alignment, and the power of continuous learning.

One of the highlights of the evening was a vision boarding workshop led by Gracious Nyamupachitu, who brought incredible energy and creativity to help attendees visualize and map out their ideal career paths. Participants left with personalized vision boards, igniting excitement and commitment to their future goals.

Thank you to Pinterest for opening their beautiful office to our community, especially in the city that inspired us to start D2! It's really special to partner with companies whose values align so closely to our own.

Community Campaign 2024

On October 24th, we launched our D2 Community Campaign 2024! 💙

Celebrating two years of incredible connection, this campaign highlights the members who make the D2 collective so special. Each of you brings our values to life, sparking the conversations and friendships that make our community thrive.

2 Years of the D2 collective

Wednesday’s celebration was pure magic 💙

Two years ago, inspired by our time in Dublin, Erica and Nastie started the D2 collective with a simple mission: bringing the tech world closer together through meaningful connections. Something we felt was missing in our own lives at that time.

On Wednesday we got to celebrate our two year milestone and take a moment to pause and look back at everything that happened:

• Connecting 10.000+ people in tech

• Hosting over 150 events across Europe and the US

• Our partnership with incredible tech companies

• Growing from 2 founders to a team of 7

• Both of Erica and Nastie going full time on D2

We’re thankful for everyone who shared what community and D2 means for them. Huge thank you to Gizem, Nuri, Gabriele, Karyna, Kristina & Nevlynn for sharing your stories.
