As we look back on the past few months, it's clear that the true power of the D2 collective lies in our ability to bring people together, ignite meaningful conversations, and foster connections that drive the tech industry forward.
In recent months, we've hosted a series of events that explored critical and transformative topics. From career growth in tech and innovative HR practices to fostering inclusivity and belonging, our gatherings have provided a platform for professionals to learn, share, and grow together.
The insights shared by our incredible speakers from top companies have been invaluable. Their contributions have enriched our discussions and inspired many to carve their own unique paths and dream big.
Our Tech Mixers, Boat Parties, and Sunday Brunch events underscore our commitment to nurturing not just professional relationships, but lifelong friendships within our community. We believe that the strongest innovations and collaborations often arise from authentic, enduring connections.
By creating spaces where members can let their guards down and share personal stories, we're laying the foundation for a supportive network that extends well beyond the workplace.

What is one achievement you experienced in 2024 that you have yet to celebrate?
This was the theme for our first D2 Summer Brunch on June 29th. We came together to Connect & Celebrate - celebrate ourselves, celebrate each other, and celebrate our community. It was a beautiful day and each person who showed up did so with an open mind and an enthusiasm that really made for an incredible experience.

Community Campaign

To celebrate the D2 collective's upcoming two-year milestone in October, we launched a photoshoot campaign capturing the essence of our community and the authentic connections that have flourished within it. Bringing together members from all stages of our journey, the energy on set was a powerful reminder of the impact of genuine relationships.
This campaign aligns beautifully with our recent Sunday Brunch theme of celebrating personal accomplishments. Both highlight the importance of recognizing our individual and collective growth in a world that often moves too fast.
As we build up to our October anniversary, we're excited to bring these stories to life, showcasing the diverse, vibrant, and supportive network we've built together.
The photoshoot day was more than just a project; it was a celebration of our collective journey, filled with laughter, shared stories, and a renewed appreciation for the bonds we've formed - perfectly capturing what the D2 collective is all about.
On August 19th, we had the pleasure of partnering with HiBob to spark meaningful conversations among HR and People Leaders in Amsterdam on the topic of Influential HR.
At a time of non stop online interactions, we witnessed first hand how much individuals benefit from human connection and in-person interactions.
There's an undeniable magic that happens when we gather, shake hands, make eye contact, and feel the energy in the room 🤍.
It's these moments that remind us of the irreplaceable value of human interaction. We encourage you to step outside your comfort zone and attend in-person meetups.
